At DCS2, we understand the critical importance of compliance in the skip tracing and asset recovery industry. We have developed a comprehensive compliance program that covers both internal and external risks. Our program ensures that we maintain our clients’ trusted reputation while continuing to provide superior recovery results.
DCS2 personnel are kept up to date on all regulations and guidelines including FDCPA, UDAAP, Gramm Leach Bliley, FTC, TCPA, ADA, SCRA, as well as individual client requirements. All Investigators at DCS2 are CARS certified through RISC. We record, monitor and critique phone calls to make sure that our Investigators are following the rules, regulations and client requirements to the letter.
360° Compliance Program
Our internal compliance program includes strict codes of conduct for our investigators, staff, and 3rd party vendors.
All DCS2 candidates must go through background checks during the hiring process. During orientation all employees must go through our training process including the RISC Certified Asset Recovery Specialist evaluation for our investigators. Additionally, investigators must learn about relevant state and federal regulations and laws such as the FDCPA, ADA, SCRA, UDAAP, GLBA, TCPA as well as Client requirements.
Post-hiring, we train our investigators to be direct and straight forward without ever being rude or obnoxious.
In addition to real time monitoring, our team leaders work in the office side-by-side with our investigators. These team leaders can overhear and correct any behavior in violation of our professional standards.
Monitoring our third-party vendors is equally as critical.
Each agency repossession partner in our network is required to go through a rigorous evaluation. This process includes a documentation review, background checks, lien checks, and reference checks. Agency partners must also meet our strict insurance requirements. These requirements are monitored on an ongoing basis to ensure our agent network is up to date with our conditions.
Data Protection
In addition to our compliance program, we offer some of the industry’s highest standards for information security including data protection, backups, redundancy, and firewalls.
Office security provides an additional layer of safeguards including physical access control, alarm monitoring and response, and procedures for when equipment is decommissioned.
